Everyday we will have a light snack of rice crackers and nuts in the woods. A hot lunch will be provided daily on a rotating menu.
- Brown rice with egg and veggie sticks
- Basmati rice with red lentils and yams
- Veggie soup with Bread and nut butter
- Quinoa with veggie sticks
Through out the week we paint with watercolors, we make bread and
soup, we draw with beeswax crayons ,and we clean (sweeping, polishing,
washing and ironing, which teaches children to respect the environment).
These activities are repeated so there is rythm in the child's week.
“Games,
whether circle games, traditional games, made up games, passing
games, guessing games – whether they are done moving or sitting
– all of them enhance listening skills, memory, patience,
language and observation skills. They help weave unity and social
aware ness in the classroom and among the children.”
- Celia Riahi Games.
